Breast implants are basically of two types:

• Silicone breast implants
• Saline breast implants

Silicone breast implants are made of silicone pouch filled with a silicone gel , while saline breast implants are silicone pouches that are filled with saline solution. • While most women who have had silicone breast implants for years show no complication women are usually cautioned to keep a note of any loss of feeling, tingling or burning sensation in the breasts or change in breast shape and size. These can be reported to your plastic surgeon and decisions be made if anything should be done.
