Silicone Breast Implants

The Food and Drug Administration has determined through extensive data collection and clinical trials that silicone implants are safe. Independent studies have concluded that their is no association between silicone breast implants and cancer or connective tissue disease.

    Breast implants are basically of two types:
  • • Silicone breast implants
  • • Saline breast implants

Silicone breast implants are made of silicone while saline breast implants are silicone pouches that are filled with saline solution. Both are available in Honolulu, Hawaii.
